Imagine your name being exchanged for a number. your identity is encompassed by the number on your chest.
people around you stare as they contemplate the idea of you entertaining their lustful, twisted, sexual desires.
you are a sex slave. not by choice. no one would choose this.
your humanity has been completely striped before your eyes.
this could happen at your age of 3 or 8 or 14. maybe 17 or 21. if you are a male this does not exclude you.
this is real. I won’t dance around the issue and use nice words as to not offend anyone. I will say this loud and clear, SEX TRAFFICKING IS A REALITY. 8.4 million children are in slavery, 1.2 million children are trafficked yearly. 2 children PER MINUTE are trafficked for sexual exploitation. up to 300,000 prostituted children live on the streets in the U.S. Billions of dollars are generated yearly.
How does your heart feel? Is it breaking? Does this make you examine your life in such a way that nothing matters anymore-what does matter are the lives of these people and their identity, as children made in the image of the One true God.
ARE YOU HEARING ME YET?
you, me, we all, should be weeping and beating our fists for this injustice. But we don’t because we are used to evil. we are conditioned to know that evil exists in the world and it will happen…that way we can go about our lives, ignoring it, because “These things just happen.” what lies.
There is nothing worse in the world than this injustice. The word injustice doesn’t even cover the multitude of this heinous form of exploitation.

Guess what? This happens in the U.S. too. no, we are not the conservative, united, perfect country we to claim to be. Humans are being sold, addicted to drugs, and used for sex every night. There is no end in sight to them.
Behold! Christ came to seek and save that which was lost. He came for the sick. Jesus wept and does weep for His children enslaved. Although they are held in bondage, they can have hope in Christ and in Christ alone. We are His tools, His glory. He will be glorified through us when we align our lives with His will. Where do you fit into this issue? Donate, intercede, intervene, speak, rescue, restore.
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.” Romans 8:17
For Believers:
“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.”
